• ప్రభుత్వం ప్రధాన మంత్రి కిసాన్ ఊర్జా సురక్ష ఏవం ఉత్థాన్ మహాభియాన్ (PMKUSUM) పథకాన్ని మార్చి 2026 వరకు పొడిగించింది.

• కారణం: COVID అనిశ్చితి కారణంగా ఇది ఇప్పటి వరకు ఆశించిన ఫలితాన్ని అందించలేకపోయింది.

• PM-KUSUM 2019లో ప్రారంభించబడింది.

• లక్ష్యం: 2022 నాటికి రూ. 34,422 కోట్ల మొత్తం కేంద్ర ఆర్థిక సహకారంతో 30,800 మెగావాట్ల సౌర సామర్థ్యాన్ని జోడించడం.
